David Wedderkop

Born in London, David is married with four daughters. Whilst he has enjoyed almost all sports over the years, his current passions, other than NLP, are diving, kayaking, Aikido and mountain biking. He lives in Rutland. David has been a trainer for more than 30 years, initially as an Army Commando, where he was responsible for the development of Special Forces troops. He has consulted and coached, developed and delivered training for:

David’s career has spanned being a team member to management of multi-disciplinary teams, always in high-pressure environments. For the past 12 years David has worked as an organisational development consultant specialising in developing consulting, sales, leadership, client engagement and facilitation/presentation skills programmes for major organisations.
His introduction to NLP came when a client asked him to head up the global delivery of a consulting training, specifically designed around core NLP skills. To ensure best service to the client, David immersed himself in developing his NLP knowledge and skills. He is currently engaged by two global IT companies to consult and develop a number of NLP based learning solutions. His specific interest is in modelling excellent behaviour and has developed NLP modelling techniques to apply in business contexts.
Whilst David has used NLP extensively in the corporate world, he has benefited from it massively on a personal level. Due to this, he is passionate about sharing his personal experience and knowledge of NLP to both individuals and groups of new and developing NLP explorers.
David has studied psychology to honours degree level, is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
